Tougan Soup

Ingredients:
- Tougan 2 pounds 
- Onion 1 
- Ground meat 1 pound 
- Kabocha 1/4 
- Mushroom (any kind) 1 cup 
- Ginger some. (fresh or powder) 
- Bay leaf 
- Potato starch (katakuriko). 2 tbsp 
Directions;
- Chop onion into fine pieces, and sautee with oil 
- Add ground meat, ginger, and sautee more 
- Add other vegetables (mushroom, kabocha...) 
- Add a bay leaf and water enough to cover the ingredients and boil for a while 
- Add consome, salt, pepper and simmer 
- Add tougan (cut in a bite size cutes) toward the end 
- Adjust the flavor (soup stock, salt, pepper, etc...) 
- Mix potato starch with a little water, and pour in the soup and stir 
Note:
- Tougan cooks fast and will melt if cooked long 
- Tougan can be cut in cubes and freeze - ready to put in soup frozen 
- Add any vegetables and meat of your pick
