Shungiku with Walnuts



Ingredients

  • Shungiku

  • Walnuts

  • Sesame (optional)

  • Salt

  • Flavor (soy sauce, shio koji, mirin)


Directions

  1. Remove the thick stems of shungiku

  2. Boil water and add shungiku with a pinch of salt briefly (about 10 seconds)

  3. Drain and rinse with cold water, squeeze

  4. Cut into desirable size

  5. Roast the walnuts and chop into pieces

  6. Add soy sauce, shio koji, mirin and walnuts and mix
