Kabocha Croquette

Kabocha can replace potato



Ingredients

  • Kabocha

  • Onion (optional)

  • Salt & pepper

  • Flour

  • Egg

  • Bread crumb


Directions

  1. Cut kabocha into large pieces, boil and mash (with our without skin)

  2. Chop onion fine and sautee

  3. Mix kabocha and onion, and shape into rolls

  4. Roll on Flour --> Dip in Beaten egg --> Roll on Bread crumb, and deep fry


Note

  • As a non-fry option, you can bake and brown the bread crumb in a pan/oven, and coat the rolled kabocha

  • Can add a cubed cheese inside
