Blanched vegetables with sesame flavor



Ingredients

  • vegetables of your choice (spinach, asparagus, carrots, broccoli, green bean, etc..)

  • Sesame seeds (toasted) 2 tbsp

  • Sugar (or Mirin) 1 tbsp

  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp

  • optional crushed sesame, vinegar, sake, sesame oil, etc.


Directions

  1. Boil the water

  2. Blanch vegetable (boil briefly so they stay crunchy and fresh)

  3. Drain and rinse with cold water, and squeeze or tap with paper towel

  4. Mix and add the remaining ingredients
