Bamboo Shoot Rice (Takenoko Gohan)

Ingredients

  • Prepared bamboo shoot How to prepare CLICK

  • Ginger

  • Age (bean curd)

  • Soy sauce, dashi powder, mirin, sake, etc..

Directions

  1. Slice bamboo shoot, ginger, age

  2. Add all in a rice cooker and cook in usual way.


Note: May add sliced shiitake mushroom, pine nuts, sesame seeds, chicken cut in pieces....
