Aka Shiso Juice

Summer drink with vinegar



Ingredients

  • Aka shiso 2, 3 bunches (remove the thick stems)

  • Water 2.0L

  • Sugar 2 cups (480 cc)

  • Vinegar 1 cup (240cc) Adjust the sugar and vinegar as you prefer.


Directions

  1. Boil water and put the chopped aka shiso for a few minutes until the leaves turn into green color.

  2. Drain and add sugar into the boiled water. (Discard the leaves.)

  3. Add vinegar and the color will change into bright pink.

  4. Cool and serve, adding water or soda.

  5. Can keep in refrigerator for several days.
