Hijiki Salad



Ingredients:

  • Hijiki Seaweed (dry)

  • Vegetables (Cucumber, carrot, etc...)

  • Mayonnaise 1tbsp

  • Sesame (seeds or ground) 1tbsp

  • Soy sauce some

Directions:

  1. Soak Hijiki seaweed in water for 20 minutes (make sure it is soft enough) and drain, lightly squeeze

  2. Cut vegetables

  3. Mix hijiki and vegetables, add mayonnaise, sesame and soy sauce

  4. Let it cool and serve


Note:

Hijiki seaweed expands a lot once you soak in water.

Suri goma (ground sesame) tastes better. Soy sauce as needed.
