Yaki Omusubi



Ingredients:

  • Cooked rice about 300g (after cooking one Japanese rice cup= 180cc of raw rice)

  • Soys sauce 2 tbsp

  • Mirin 1 tsp

  • Dashi powder 1 tsp

  • Sesame oil, sesame (optional)


Directions:

  1. Mix the cooked rice all other ingredients in a bowl

  2. Shape round or triangle rice balls

  3. Sautee both sides in the frying pan or bake in an oven toaster, turning upside down in the middle to make them crispy on the surface
