Somen Noodle
Refreshing, handy cold noodle in summer
Ingredients
Somen noodle
Topping (cucumber, egg, cold cut, shiso, petit tomato, myoga, green onion, sesame, etc.)
Mentsuyu
Wasabi (optional)
Directions
Boil water and cook somen noodles briefly
Drain and rinse with cold water immediately
Cut the topping ingredients into small/thin slices
Add topping and serve with tsuyu
Note
Serve warm with soup in winter
Put ice on noodle and rinse with water just before serving, to keep it cool and separate the noodles
