Soba Sushi Rolls

Rolled with soba noodles instead of rice




Ingredients (about 35 pieces)

  • Soba noodle 5 bunches

  • Nori seaweed (Large) 7 sheets

  • Inside: cucumber, egg (4-5) , imitation crab, etc


Directions

  1. Boil soba according to the instruction

  2. Drain and rinse with cold water

  3. Cut cucumber into lengthwise strips

  4. Cook eggs (tamago maki) and cut into thin strips

  5. Place a nori sheet on makisu (rolling mat)

  6. Spread a thin layer of soba noodles on a nori sheet (No need to straighten soba noodles. Just spread it randomly.)

  7. Put cucumber, egg, imitation crab, etc. and roll just like you make rolled sushi with rice

  8. Cut with frequently wet wiped knife

  9. Serve with soba tsuyu dipping


Note

  • For smaller amount, 2 bunches of Soba, 3 sheets of Nori make 15 pieces.

  • Convenient and practical as a party dish

  • For thick roll, use a full size nori sheet

  • For thin roll, use a half size nori sheet
