Sweet rice wrapped in red bean paste
Ingredients
Sweet rice 4
Regular rice 1
Red bean paste
Sugar
Directions
Combine both rice, add a little sugar, and cook in a rice cooker
Roll rice into small balls and wrap with red bean paste
Notes
Sweet rice : Regular rice = 4 : 1
Try to consume on the same day you make
Homemade red bean paste (anko) with less sugar
Offered to one’s ancestors and eaten during obon, the spring and autumn equinoxes
