Meat Loaf

Japanese flavor using poultry meat



Ingredients


Ground meat (chicken or turkey). 450g

Inside (carrot, green bean, spinach, etc. - something colorful)

Onion or green onion

Egg 1

Bread crumb some

Milk some

Salt & Pepper, Shio-koji,

Ginger (fresh or powder)

Dried shiitake mushroom (optional)

Sansho pepper powder (optional)



Directions

  1. Boil inside vegetables and cut in narrow strips lengthwise

  2. Chop fine or grind onion

  3. Soak a and soften dried shiitake, and cut into small pieces

  4. Soak and soften some bread crumb in milk

  5. Grind giner

  6. Mix well ground meat, bread crumb (3), beaten egg, salt and pepper, shio-koji, onion (2), ginger, shiitake mushroom, ginger, sansho pepper powder* , etc..

  7. In a pound cake container, fill the meat mixture up to half

  8. Lay the inside vegetables in the center

  9. Cover the rest with the remaining meat mixture

  10. Bake in an oven until inside is cooked well


Note

  • *Sansho pepper powder is made from Sansho seed, a unique Japanese pepper that has a fresh aroma and spicy flavor.
