Gyoza

Everyone's favorite


Nira Gyoza and Crsipy Gyoza Skin


Ingredients

  • Ground meat 1bd (450g)

  • Gyoza skin (30-50)

  • Vegetables (cabbage, nira, garlic, onion, green onion, ginger, shiitake mushroom, etc.)

  • Salt & pepper

  • Oil (regular or sesame oil)

  • For dipping, karashi mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, ponzu, lemon, etc...


Directions

  1. Chop the vegetables fine and mix with ground meat.

  2. Add salt & pepper and mix well

  3. Wrap in gyoza skin

  4. Heat up the frying pan or a hot plate.

  5. Add some oil (regular or sesame oil) , place the gyoza and sautee one side till brown.

  6. Add some water and cover immediately.

  7. Do no open the cover and steam cook until the inside is fully cooked.

  8. Serve with karashi mustard and soy sauce, vinegar and soy sauce, lemon and soy sauce, ponzu, ra-yu (hot oil) etc..


Note

  • Great in soup as wonton soup, or deep fry as fried gyoza.

  • Extra gyoza skin can be toasted with olive oil, salt, pepper, cheese, etc on top as snack
