Creamy Hakusai

As a side dish, or as soup or pasta sauce


Ingredients

  • Hakusai (Chinese cabbage)

  • Shiitake (fresh or dry)

  • Carrot

  • Onion

  • Ham (or any cold cut)

  • Salt & pepper

  • Consomme Milk (any kind)

  • Flour (potato starch, etc.)

  • Heavy cream (optional)


Directions

  1. Cut the vegetables and ham to your desired size

  2. Put in a pan and heat up (Water will come out of Hakusai)

  3. Add salt & pepper, consomme,

  4. Add milk and flour until slightly thickens

  5. Add heavy cream for richer flavor


Note

  • Can consume a large amount of hakusai

  • When heated, hakusai produces a lot of water
