Cardamon Cake

Easy Middle Eastern flavor cake with cardamon and rose water



Ingredients (One large pyrex)


  • Almond powder 480 cc (US 2 cups)

  • Flour 480cc (US 2 cups)

  • Sugar 240cc (US 1 cup)

  • Oil. 240cc (US 1 cup)

  • Yogurt 240cc (US 1 cup)

  • Egg 2

  • Cardamon powder 1 tbsp

  • Baking powder 1 tsp

  • Salt some

Syrup

  • Sugar 120 cc (US 1/2 cup)

  • Water 120 cc (US 1/2 cup)

  • Rosewater 3 tbsp

  • Cardamon powder 1 tsp


Directions


  1. Preheat the oven 180C (350F)

  2. Mix all the ingredients and bake for 40 minutes

  3. Heat the syrup ingredients in a pan

  4. Brush the syrup all over the baked dough

  5. Cover with a wrap and leave for several hours or overnight

  6. Decorate with edible rose petals and pistachios, if any
