Bukkake Udon
Great in summer - cold udon noodle
Ingredients
Boiled and cooled udon noodle
Toppings (ume, shiso, grated daikon radish, ginger, katsuobushi flakes, lime or lemon juice, sesame, etc.)
Sauce of your pick (sesame sauce, ponzu, cold udon soup, etc)
Directions
Place the udon and toppings in a bowl
Pour (splash) or dip in your favorite sauce and mix

Bukkake is a Japanese word that means “splash,” and in the context of udon it's used to describe a style where a comparatively small amount of broth is splashed over the noodles after they're placed in the bowl.
