Salmon and Cucumber Vinegar Rice

Ingredients

  • Salmon (cooked)

  • Cucumber

  • Vinegar (rice vinegar preferred)

  • Sugar

  • Salt

  • Rice

  • Sesame



Directions


1. Cook rice (a little harder), and make sushi rice in either of the followings;


Sushi Rice #1

Cook 1 cup (using a cup attached to rice cooker) of rice

Add Sushinoko powder 1 tbsp or use pre-flavored sushi vinegar


Sushi Rice #2 (adjust to your taste)

Cook 1 cup of rice, and mix with;

Vinegar 2 tbsp (30 cc)

Sugar 1 tbsp

Salt 1 tea spoon




2. Slice cucumbers and soak in salted water (500ml water, 1 tbsp salt) for 10 minutes,

drain and squeeze


3. Make salmon flakes with cooked salmon


4. Mix sushi rice, cucumber, salmon, sesame.


Note

  • Great for consuming the leftover of the grilled salmon :)
