Yamaguchi Ken, Suo Oshima
At "Iwaya Gongen" , there is a huge rock with four large cedars tied with a sacred rope with a cave underneath. In this cave, during the first three days (early mornings) of the New Year, people bring mochi (rice cake) to bake at a fire prepared by the locals, and eat them to pray for the healthy and prosperous year.
