Yamaguchi ken, Shimonoseki shi
According to some research, there are petrograph (geometric carvings carved into rocks and boulders）with the characters of Sumerians. Mysteries are not solved yet. Maybe there has been some ancient connection between the Sumerians in Mesopotamia and this area. Many other petrograhps are also found in vicinity.
