Suo Oshima, Yamaguchi Ken
Tateiwa is one of the four special sacred rocks of Suo Oshima, next to the beautiful Tateiwa beach. Bato (horse head) Kannon is enshrined in a 40-meter-high andesite rock that rises by the coast along the prefectural road.
