Shimonoseki Shi, Yamaguchi Ken
A straight path leading to a torii and shrine on the top of the hill in the middle of the ricefield. A festival called "Hamaide-sai" is held every 7 years (next in April 2025); a memorial service for the victims of the Mongolian invasion over 730 years ago.
