Yamaguchi Shi, Yamaguchi Ken
The oldest building in the prefecture built in Muromachi period in the early 13th century. Oldest Komainu (statue pairs of lion-like creatures guarding the property) made in 1373. Many Ema (wooden plaques that people write their prayers or wishes on）on the ceiling.
