Kagoshima Ken, Yakushima
Honbo Sake Brewery began making shochu in this area in 1960. Since then, for more than half a century, ``Yakushima Densozo'' has evolved as a shochu brewery with roots in Yakushima. While appreciating Yakushima's abundant and pure water and the blessings of the earth, we produce rare, authentic shochu that is unique to traditional breweries that are particular about traditional handcrafting.
